Using Dreamlinux
• Insert the Dreamlinux Live CD on the CD-ROM/DVD drive on your computer and boot up the system. Dreamlinux will be started. If necessary configure your BIOS to boot up via the CD-ROM drive.
• Dreamlinux can be started in Brazilian Portuguese, English or Spanish (additional languages coming soon...) by means of choosing the appropriate language on the boot menu.
• In the rare case Dreamlinux fails in automatically detect your hardware it suffices to use one of the several available options on the boot menu.
• If desired DreamLinux can be installed on your HD fast and easily. Execute the option HD Install via Menu or Control Panel.

Music, be in the traditional CD format, be in the new audio formats such as mp3, ogg and wma, using XMMS and Gxine. Cut, mend and edit audio files using Audacity. Use Grip to extract tracks from your CD and record audio CDs using Gnomebaker.

2007-07-10 - "This is the distribution that gave me a WOW effect, if i remember correctly the last time I had this WOW effect was with PCLinuxOS 0.93a big daddy. The icon theme is really great. DreamLinux tries to mimic mac and it does it really well. 2007-07-12 - "Ever have one of those dreams where everything seems to be going unnaturally well, and then all of the sudden, you wake up and you're late for work? Sure you have. DreamLinux, at least in my experience, was sort of like that, minus the work part (metaphorically, of course). It's a great distribution, with some great features, but it feels cheaply made. First off, the obligatory background info. DreamLinux is a Brazilian distribution aimed at multimedia enthusiasts and former Mac OS users. Why OS X users? That's what it looks like. It sports a custom theme and Engage, a launcher from the Enlightenment project that looks and feels almost exactly like OS X's Dock."
