SAM comes with the latest Xfce4.4 desktop, support for more than 20 languages out of the box, Beryl/Xgl, and contains a complete home desktop with Office, Internet, Games, Multimedia, Graphics, System, Security/Rescue-Software and nice additions like Wine, Flash 9 and Java as well as Realplayer.
Now it is possible to boot from a USB stick using the CD as start medium, and the export of the "home" folder to an USB flash device is back on the LiveCD.
To run SAM you need at least 128mb of RAM and a 300mhz CPU. Lesser is possible (down to 64mb RAM with a existing Swap partition), but not recommended.
The changes:
OpenOffice updated to 2.2 RC, changes in the games section, added Gparted, root-kit-hunter, redo-mbr, Dayplanner, Glabels, Chestnut Dialer, PyNeighbourhood, Streamtuner, Realplayer, FLPhoto, many fixes and other updates, addition of LiveUSB mode and mkusbhome, and more.

SAM now comes with the latest stable XFce 4.4 desktop enhanced with Adesklets and Wbar, a Mac like starter bar, as well as some selfmade Wizards to configure them.
The Live CD now is back on isolinux as bootloader for more compatibility and uses aufs as file system, installation now is possible from the user account.
Kernel was updated to 2.6.18.6dev5 with new drivers and patches, NTFS write support now comes with the addition of ntfs-3g.
Inkscape replaced with Sodipodi, removed Gnome-Media and added Liferea (feed reader), JPilot (Palm Pilot Tool), Keytouch (Multimedia keyboard setup) and Gweled.
The non-working menu entries for Xmms and MPlayer are now fixed.
SAM includes support for German and English language (including OpenOffice) as well as 20 other, as far as the different applications comes with corresponding language packs.
