Fluxbuntu is a light-weight, standards-compliant, Ubuntu-based Linux distribution featuring the Fluxbox window manager. The project's primary goal is to develop an operating system that would run on a wide range of mobile devices and computers, both low-end and high-end. Fluxbuntu is available as a live CD and can be run without altering your existing operating system or hard drive. For our initial release, we have provided turnkey starting disks for standard desktop PCs (i386 architecture), AMD's 64 bit processors (x86_64 architecture), and older generation Macintosh computers (ppc architecture) versions. This means that in most instances, you can simply put the appropriate disk in your drive and start your computer up into Fluxbuntu. In no way will Fluxbuntu alter your system.
