INSERT (Inside Security Rescue Toolkit) dibuat dengan tujuan menyediakan sebuah sistem 'disaster recovery and network analysis' yang multi-fungsi dan multi-purpose. Ia jalan langsung dari CD kecil (credit cardCD-ROM atau PocketCD) merupakan turunan dari LiveDistro Knoppix. INSERT memiliki fitur 'full read-write support for NTFS-partitions' menggunakan captive-ntfs.

ClamAV comes in the new release 0.90 with experimental features activated.
ntfs-3g was updated to the first release candidate.
The GUI for clamav (avscan) was replaced with a GUI for (the downloadable) F-Prot (xfprot).
Support for ISDN was completely dropped.
The persistent home directory feature should work again.
