BEL or Business Edition Linux is a business implementation of PCLinuxOS (2007). Our goal is to provide solutions for small business needs using one of the easiest to use Linux Distributions available.

BEL is also known as pclosbe, which stands for PCLOS Business Edition. It's a little reminder of how we started out. you will find references to pclosbe in places all around, even though we are officially the Business Edition Linux Project It's a nice way to give PCLOS the recognition it deserves.

The purpose of BEL Server is to provide an easier than typical experience for the self taught computer admin and small business user to be able to get a small business network and common business tools and resources set up without too much trouble or expense. It is not meant to replace learning, but actually make it so one can learn as they go, getting a functional network setup to put to work while they are learning and making themselves more familiar with the tools they are using.
