Bluewhite64 Linux is an unofficial port of Slackware Linux to the x86_64 processor architectures.

• Bluewhite64(tm) Linux is a complete pure 64-bit GNU/Linux distribution which can be deployed on a single or multi core 64-bit AMD64 Sempron™, Athlon™ , Opteron™, Turion™ 64, Phenom™ and Intel EM64T (Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology) based servers and desktop computers.
• This project was started in May 2006 and was built from Slackware -current sources using the existing 64-bit multilib toolchain from the Slamd64 Linux (thanks Fred!) to create a new 64-bit non-multilib toolchain in order to build the rest of the programs found in the Slackware -current tree. The Bluewhite64 project goal is to imitate the same user experience of the Intel distribution as closely as possible and includes all of the same software, configuration scripts plus the needed 64-bit patches.
• The LiveDVD and miniLive are created from Bluewhite64 12.0 plus extra packages made by me and the Bluewhite64 community to create a custom Live editon. The goal of this two Live editions is to offer an opportunity to run Bluewhite64 for those who don't want to install Bluewhite64 on PC, or just take a preview of what can be found inside Bluewhite64, how things works and so on.
